Organize a pilgrimage to the Shrine

When planning a pilgrimage, some very important preliminary aspects must be addressed so that, with proper preparation, a peaceful and fruitful pilgrimage can result. Therefore, it is important to keep the following in mind:

  1. Set a date in your calendar and contact the Sanctuary.

This way, we can accommodate all groups (small or large) and organize their stay at the Sanctuary to make it as enjoyable and productive as possible. If you plan to come as an individual or as a family, there’s no problem, as long as your visit takes place during regular opening hours.

  2. Type of pilgrimage

It is convenient to know if:
The group intends to create its own program, bringing a priest who will preside over the celebrations and provide spiritual guidance to the group. The group intends to integrate into the Shrine’s official program (see dates and times of celebrations) and also have specific activities. This way, we can better plan our activities.

  3. Number of people

For celebrations and programs for private groups, it is necessary to plan spaces, the availability of which may depend on the number of people in the group.

  4. Identity of the pilgrimage

Efforts should be made to provide pilgrims with up-to-date and appropriate information about the message of Chandavila and the Shrine, ensuring that the identity of the pilgrimage is intrinsically and consistently aligned with the specific identity—history, message, and spirituality—of Chandavila.

Pilgrims should be made aware of issues such as respect, silence, and cleanliness within prayer spaces, care for personal belongings, adherence to schedules, active participation in the Shrine’s pastoral program, etc.

  5. Aspects relating to the reservation of the pilgrimage

The pilgrimage registration (and any necessary requests) will be sent by email: peregrinar@santuariochandavila.com  or by phone: (+34) 630885872/ Senior Brother of the Brotherhood.
