Premiere of the documentary “A Light in Spain: Chandavila, That Which… Happened” on YouTube
The documentary “A Light in Spain: Chandavila, That Which… Happened” is now available on YouTube. It was written and produced by Juan José Montes, with the participation of members of the Confraternity of Chandavila, the Brotherhood of Our Lady of La Ribera, and the Cajalmendralejo Foundation, among other institutions and individuals.
This wonderful documentary tells the story of the apparitions of the Virgin that took place in 1945 at the chestnut tree to Marcelina Barroso, various testimonies from family members, as well as the ecstasy of Afra Brígido, the designation of the Sanctuary as diocesan, and a final welcoming message from Monsignor José Rodríguez Carballo to pilgrims to Chandavila.
