
Radio Maria at the Shrine
Radio Maria is an international Catholic radio station, present in more than 80 countries, dedicated to evangelization, prayer and Christian formation.
Origin: It was born in 1983 in Italy, as a parish initiative in the city of Erba (near Milan). It gradually grew, becoming a worldwide network coordinated by the World Family of Radio Maria, based in Italy.
In Spain: It began broadcasting in 1999. It is based in Madrid and has branches and volunteers in various dioceses. It is supported primarily by listeners and volunteers, as it does not carry any commercial advertising.
