I have received your letter and regarding your question about whether I have any medical report on what happened to me on September 26, 1971 in the GORDINI car, the only thing I can tell you is that that day we were picked up by a car belonging to a relative of Dolores Lucio Matador and we were taken to Alburquerque to be treated by the doctor who was, if I remember correctly, Doctor Sainz, and upon seeing the seriousness of the wounded, we were taken to Badajoz to the Provincial Hospital and my late father-in-law Pedro Margullon died in the early hours of the 27th and the brothers José and Horato Pereira were admitted for their very serious injuries and as I did not have the slightest wound on my body, I was not treated by any doctor.
The accident report was made by a brother of mine, Miguel Carmona Antúnez, who was a First Corporal in Alburquerque, who asked me, very surprised, where I had gotten out of the crushed car and I told him to hug him, that a light whiter than the sun had opened the door for me and we hugged each other for a long time, telling me, brother, this is truly a great miracle that you have received from the Mother of God, Our Lady of Sorrows, and you have to make it known worldwide.
My brother Miguel Carmona Antúnez died very young at 36 years old from a cerebral infarction in Villafranca de los Barros.
At that time I was working as General Manager of the Chalet of the Counts of Elda, and it was when I wrote a letter to the Holy Father Paul VI dated October 13, 1971 with the signatures of all the witnesses of La Codosera, Sagradas, etc. where I expressed to the Vicar of Christ on Earth the great miracle received from the Most Holy Virgin of Sorrows of Chandavila, and the only thing I have is the mail receipt of the certification and a newspaper clipping of the accident from September 26, 1971.
However, Afra Brígido Blanco, with whom I corresponded very spiritually, knew everything that happened to me in the accident, and Dolores Lucio Matador as well, of whom I have great spiritual memories.
For my part, I plan to make a plaque in gratitude for this great miracle to the Blessed Virgin of Sorrows of Chandavila to display in the Sanctuary.
