On Sunday, October 19, the Church celebrates World Mission Sunday., World Mission Day, organized by Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS)). It is the day in which, in a special way, The universal Church prays for missionaries and collaborates with the missions. The “month of missions” is celebrated around the world on the penultimate Sunday of October. This year, the theme chosen for this Day is“Missionaries of hope among the peoples.”

This year’s motto for Domund”, is given in Pope Francis’ message for this Day.In it, he reminded every Christian, and the Church as a community of the baptized, of their fundamental vocation to be messengers and builders of hope. This vocation requires the support of the rest of the Church. How? There are three forms of missionary cooperation: personal, spiritual, and economic. It is not just about collaborating with the mission, but also participating in it.
